Hope, Despair and Miracles
Roxana Allison is a Mexican-British photographer whose work has a
predominantly socially-driven focus and explores the themes of belonging,
identity and place. She has extensive experience working with young people
and underrepresented communities spanning over 15 years and strives to
achieve social justice through her photography. Longsight is an inner-city

Zak Dimitrov turns to his home country of Bulgaria where obituaries are displayed everywhere — trees, houses, coffee shops, any random place one can imagine, but more often than not places that were once of significance for the deceased. The starting point for the photographer was the evidently blurred line between private and public. Grief is a very private experience, yet the families choose to display theirs out in the open.
Ebbing Away of Identity with the Tides
Sushavan Nandy, based in Kolkata, focuses on the climate catastrophe, society,
culture and the crises experienced by humankind collectively. He enjoys working
on long-term photographic projects as it allows him to delve deep and explore
issues in depth rather than simply scratch the surface; he has been published by
the Guardian, CNN, New York Magazine, Vogue India, British Journal of
Photography, and many others.

Zak Dimitrov moved to London in 2015 and by 2018 he had been on over 100 dates. The man he was going out with at the time, Reggie, turned out to be, as cliche as it sounds, his photographic muse, partially caused by practicalities as he had very little spare time, all of which was spent with Reggie, and he had to take pictures for his final MA project.
While I Was Sleeping
While I Was Sleeping is the third part of a trilogy of projects that came out of that shift (the other two being After the Fact and Endless Plain). These projects, by and large, use documentary techniques and the resulting images look like documentary photographs, but they are not intended to document an event.
Southtown
Tommy Lee Grimmer is a young photographer based in Great Yarmouth, East England,
which is, in fact, the part of the country which is the furthest East. His
project Southtown explores his hometown, the area where he grew up, its physical
environment and community as well as the change of his perspective from a child
to now an adult.

people. Today, millions of people are moving to the west from the areas which
are bombarded by Russian troops. The road can take 20-40 hours. Most people
travel light - only documents, cell phones, and their loved ones.

Metropole
Once the Metropole or mother city at the heart of a vast global empire, London is now the dominion to a new world power. Subject to the flows of global finance and whims of markets, the city has become little more than an investment opportunity for multinational developers and overseas investors. Metropole records the brutally disorientating effects of this by documenting these legions of new corporate and residential blocks as they are constructed and occupied.
